Our teachers are highly qualified with many years of experience. At end of the training, you will have all the tools you need to feel confident and teach yoga.

The 300-Hour YTT is an advanced yoga teacher training program designed to deepen your knowledge, skills, and experience as a yoga teacher. It builds upon the foundation established in a 200-hour YTT and allows you to explore more advanced techniques and concepts. Upon completion, you can register as a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-500) with Yoga Alliance (or a relevant governing body).
The 300-Hour YTT is specifically designed for those who have already completed a 200-Hour training. It focuses on expanding your knowledge, experience, and skill-set as a yoga teacher and practitioner. The 300-Hour delves deeper into advanced topics, offers more practice teaching and provides a platform for creating a more nuanced, and refined practice. It will help you to find your unique voice as a yoga teacher.
At the Patanjali International Yoga Foundation, our 300-Hour YTT is rooted in the traditional teachings of Patanjali and is designed to take your practice and teaching to the next level. We provide an immersive and transformative experience, encouraging you to refine your personal practice, delve into deeper philosophical inquiry, and develop advanced teaching skills with a specific focus on alignment, advanced asanas and sequencing. We focus on a balanced approach to teach the eight limbs of yoga.
To be eligible for our 300-Hour YTT, you must have successfully completed a 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training from a Yoga Alliance-registered school (or a school that meets equivalent standards). We also expect a dedicated personal practice and a strong desire to learn and evolve as both a student and a teacher of yoga. You may be asked to show proof of your 200 hour completion certificate.
While our program is grounded in the principles of ancient style of Hatha Yoga, we explore a wider range of practices that allow for deeper insight. We may delve into the subtleties of restorative yoga, Yin yoga and kundalini yoga and subtle energy work. The focus will always remain on creating a well-rounded understanding of the path of yoga and a personal and unique teaching style rooted in the traditions of Patanjali.
The 300-Hour YTT curriculum includes:
- Advanced Asana Techniques: Including more complex asanas and variations, and in-depth techniques for alignment and adjustment.
- Advanced Pranayama and Breathing Practices: Exploring more subtle and advanced pranayama techniques.
- Advanced Meditation Techniques: Deepening meditation practices and exploring various techniques such as dhyana, dharana and samadhi.
- In-Depth Study of Yoga Philosophy: Exploring more advanced philosophical concepts from the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali and other relevant texts, such as the Upanishads.
- Advanced Anatomy and Physiology: Including an emphasis on fascia, biomechanics, and the subtle body.
- Teaching Methodology: Learning to design specialized classes, offering therapeutic applications of yoga, and refining the art of hands-on assists.
- Practice Teaching and Feedback: With opportunities to teach and refine your unique teaching style.
- Yoga Therapy and Restorative Techniques: Learning to offer tailored practices to address specific needs.
- Business of Yoga: Guidance on how to create, market and sustain your own yoga offerings.
The 300-Hour YTT is typically offered in an intensive format (e.g., 4 weeks) or a modular format (e.g., several weekend modules over a longer period). A typical day includes a more advanced asana practice, deeper pranayama and meditation sessions, advanced philosophy discussions, in-depth methodology and practicums. The duration of the 300-hour training is 27 days only.

The areas of topic we cover are: Techniques, Philosophy, Teaching Methodology, Anatomy and physiology, Practicum.
Our focus should be on the yoga training not on the food because food is one small aspect of the training. The goal of yoga is to rejuvenate body and mind. As less you eat carbos you find your goal.
Yes, there will be a required reading list, which may include classical yoga texts, anatomical resources and articles on contemporary yoga.
In addition to your yoga mat, comfortable clothes, and journal, we may suggest additional props, meditation cushions, and any specific reading material. A detailed list will be provided before the start of the training.

Yes, upon successful completion of the program, you will receive a 300-Hour Yoga Teacher Training certification from the Patanjali Yoga Foundation. This will enable you to register with Yoga Alliance as a RYT-500.
Yes, the 300-Hour YTT is designed to prepare you to teach more complex and specialized yoga classes. It allows you to teach a wide range of styles with confidence, and address the needs of various students.
To successfully complete the program, you must:
- Attend all required training hours.
- Complete all assignments and exams.
- Demonstrate proficiency in teaching advanced classes.
- Show a sincere dedication to the path of yoga and a commitment to ethical and professional behaviour.
In the case of circumstances that prevent full completion, we will work with you to find the most suitable solution, such as transferring to a future module or a training session.

2 Vegetarian meals a day.
According to the yoga and Ayurveda a human need to eat only 2 healthy meals a day and between 2 meal most have an 8-hour gap. 2 meals a day promotes better digestion, improves sugar control, reducing ins, unnecessary secretion potentially leading to a more stable energy level due to less blood sugar fluctuations.
It's because food is very important specially for a yoga practitioner so food most be of a high quality and nutritious which nourishes your body and mind.

No, the student is responsible to maintain the room cleanliness, PIYF provides clean bed sheets, pillow covers and towels every 5-7 days or earlier on request.

In March and April 2025, the temperature in Rishikesh, India is expected to be hot and humid, with temperatures ranging from 15–30°C.
