100 Hour Yin Yoga Teacher Training in Rishikesh, India

100 Hour Yin Yoga TTC Yin Yoga is a profound and meditative style of yoga that complements the dynamic and active practices by focusing on slow, mindful, and sustained postures held for extended periods. Rooted in ancient Taoist traditions and modern yoga philosophy, Yin Yoga aims to target the deeper connective tissues of the body—such as ligaments, fascia, and joints—promoting increased flexibility, joint mobility, and overall balance within the body's energetic systems.

This practice encourages practitioners to cultivate patience, mindfulness, and inner stillness, allowing both the body and mind to release tension and restore harmony. By integrating principles from Traditional Chinese Medicine, Yin Yoga works with the meridian pathways, enhancing the flow of life energy (“Qi”) to support physical health and emotional well-being.

At Patanjali International Yoga Foundation, we honor Yin Yoga as a vital practice that deepens the yogic experience, fostering a holistic approach to wellness that unites body, breath, and consciousness in a gentle yet transformative journey toward self-awareness and inner peace.

Yoga in India: A Deeper, More Spiritual Path

What Makes Yoga in India Stand Apart from the West?

In the West, yoga is mostly associated with movement. In India, it is the science of life — a sacred path to higher consciousness.

At Patanjali International Yoga Foundation, we preserve the authentic Himalayan lineage, where yoga is not just practiced, but lived with devotion.

What makes yoga in India different:

  • It is a lifestyle — not just a class
  • We incorporate silence, fasting, chanting, and meditation
  • Yogic food, values, and discipline are fundamental
  • Postures are supported by scriptural study
  • Teachers act as spiritual guides, not fitness experts
  • Yoga leads to self-evolution — not self-display

We Follow

The 5000 Years Old Yoga Tradition of The Himalayan Masters

Our teachings are rooted in:

  • Hatha Yoga from texts like Gheranda Samhita & Hatha Pradipika
  • Himalayan Yoga-Vedantic lineage
  • Gurukula values: teacher–student respect, daily routine, simplicity

We don’t believe in shortcuts. We follow authenticity, dedication, and humility.

“The tradition is not in the book — it is in the breath of the one who lives it.”
